Why is it that so many people these days feel broken inside?
They wander through their lives searching for something…
Searching for that one thing that will make them feel whole.
In their frustration and anxiety of feeling that something is missing, they go on searching outside of themselves for that one thing that is going to make them feel complete, happy and whole. There must be something out there that is going to fix me, make me happy, make me feel complete, make me whole.
Does this sound familiar?
Do you have people in your life continuously offering their advice as to who you should be or how you should live your life?
Even if we have very few of these people in our group of family or friends, culturally we are bombarded with messages that in order to be happy, complete or whole, you need to do this or accomplish that first.
While these messages may seem to come from good intentions, who are others to determine who we are meant to be?
So be open and listen, perhaps there are some good pieces of advice coming from others. The next time someone has advice for you as to what you should or should not do, thank them, listen and see how it feels inside. Is their suggestion or comment resonating with you? If not let it go.
Embrace the fact that you are not broken.
Even though you may be quite different from everyone else around you, that does not make you wrong. We all see the world through our own eyes.
Allow yourself to be you and to express your special gifts to the world.
What makes you unique?
What are your passions?
What are your strengths?
When you can fully discover, accept and express these gifts you will begin to generate a life of being in alignment. You will be whole! Don’t ever try to fit yourself into a mold that someone else gives you.
You do not need to fix yourself or wish you were someone else. You are who you are. You have been born into this world for a reason, for a purpose.
The question is are you living your life?
And are you living a life of purpose?
Are you happy right now?
If you can’t be happy right now, in this moment with who you are, then what makes you think you will be happy by achieving others suggestions?
I bet if you really tuned in to yourself, into your life, no matter what may have occurred in your life to this point, that you will have had many small moments of happiness. Many moments of feeling whole and complete. But that’s just it, we allow ourselves to only experience those brief moments. Can we expand those feelings to last longer to help feed our souls and to remind us that we truly are happy and whole within.
Can you ask yourself the questions “What feeds my soul?” “What truly makes me happy?” These are the areas of your life that you need to expand into more fully. These are your life’s greatest gifts.
The challenge for you is to be able to embrace your gifts, all of them. Allow them to flow through you to outwardly express who you really are. There is nothing to fix, there never has been.
So if you still have people in your life who keep on telling you that you should be different or you should not be doing that one thing your heart yearns for or that your dream of doing or being or achieving something is silly, don’t listen to them!
Embrace what is truly special about you, just be you!
There is nothing to fix, nothing was ever really broken. Begin to tune in, to truly listen to those deep, inner messages.
When you finally begin to express your gifts you will step into your own power. You will begin to present your full, whole, complete self to the world.
Don’t struggle to be something you are not. Be who you were meant to be. Share your gifts. What is it you have that you can share freely to help others? Most often what we are very passionate about will touch or resonate with others around us. The world has a reciprocate way of giving and receiving.
You have nothing to fix or change. Begin to create a life that resonates for you, one that will have the greatest and most positive impact on everyone you meet. Our lives are short and very precious, let’s live them to our fullest.
Remember you are not broken, you do not need to be fixed. You are already a perfect gift to the world when you begin to live a life of authenticity.
You are a special gift to the world, just as you are.
